How you think about yourself drives your direction and the results you get out of life.
I’ve hammered this point a lot of times, and it still rings true. Our thoughts drive our behaviors. And when our thoughts about ourselves are judgmental, they form the backbone of the actions that harm us in the long run.
How we see ourselves drastically impacts the way we eat, we drink, and behave with family and friends. That is why in today’s episode, I talk all about the difference between self-worth and self-esteem.
When we feel unworthy, we feel undeserving of being happy, and don’t value ourselves enough to take care of our bodies and our mind.
And we eat badly, we don’t implement proper self-care, and neglect our health. We work longer hours, and we don’t sleep enough. This leads to us feeling shitty on a daily basis. We end up in a feedback loop from hell, that we feel we can’t escape from. That we don’t deserve to escape it.
This is not the recipe for leading a happy, fulfilling life.
Wondering how to escape this overwhelming way of thinking? Tune into today’s episode, in which I go over:
The difference between self-esteem and self-worth.
Why you should put yourself first, instead of other people.
How feelings of low self-worth prevent you from showing up for others.
Why you can have very high self-esteem while having very low-self worth.
Baby steps you can implement to notice when you’re not valuing yourself.
Learn the connection between feelings of self-worth and the quality of your life. Put yourself first, it’s one of the best ways to show up for others as well.
