The stressful times we live in can make us question everything. We see people get sick, we see people pass, and we fear that the same may happen to us or our loved ones.

It’s absolutely OK to feel these feelings. It’s natural to do so. This is what's wonderful about being human. Feeling compassion about others, taking care of each other.

But, as all things, fear and stress can lead to a disaster if left unchecked. If you always operate from a place of fear, you close your heart, and you make decisions that aren’t healthy for you.

You go for fast food, or go for that second, or third glass of wine. You finish the bottle. Then you feel bad for doing that. The media doesn’t help as well, when what you always see and hear is suffering. Now your stress levels increase even more.

You see how easy it is to enter this cycle of negative emotions that lead to negative actions. And the consequences of those actions can be dire in the long run. Bad for your health, bad for your relationships with your close ones, and the relationship you have with yourself.

It’s why I want to listen to this episode, where you’ll hear me share:

  • How your brain leads you to obsess over bad things that might happen.

  • How operating from a place of fear prevents you from showing up at your best.

  • How panic and stress may lead you to overeat.

  • The importance of grace and compassion in dealing with stressful times.

  • Why you should incorporate more self-care in your life, instead of self-soothing.

As humans, we’re capable of overcoming the most unimaginable conditions. We show up, we deal with the pain, and we come out stronger on the other side. And you will too.
