It may seem counterintuitive, and downright dumb to say this, but weight loss is much more than a numbers game.

Stepping on the scale each morning can make or break your entire day, if all you do is judge your success depending on the numbers you see in front of you.

There are a lot more powerful ways that tell you whether or not you’re on the right path. And in this episode I want to talk to you about them.

In fact, I don’t want you to worry about scales at all. They can lure you in and make you feel like shit even though you’ve done everything right the day before.

This is because your weight can vary from day to day, depending on a lot of factors.

How much water you drank the day before, what you ate, how much did you sleep (listen to my previous episode if you want to hear more about how sleep affects weight loss), and several other factors.

So strap in, and listen to this episode in which I go over:

  • Ways in which you can figure out what your natural weight is.

  • The reasons why your weight varies from day to day.

  • How to break from the shackles of the numbers you see on the scale.

  • The empowering way to change your relationship with your scale.

  • Why you should get used to your weight bumping up and down.

  • How to figure out your weight variation patterns.

Freeing yourself from what you see on the scale can clear up mental space that you can use in other places, and on other people that make you happy. Weight loss can come from a happy place, but it sure as hell won’t from a number you see on a scale.
