Every day is an opportunity for us to make the right choice, whether it comes to eating or other areas in our life.

Often when we feel the urge to eat something that isn’t filled with the nutrients that will make us feel good, we judge ourselves.

When we do this enough times, it becomes automatic. A new pattern in our thinking forms. Now it happens everytime we reach for that donut, or that pizza. Our brain instantly admonishes us, making us feel like a failure, like something is wrong with us.

Our mindset, and our feelings dictate our behavior. Instead of judging, we should reflect on the negative feelings that appear in our minds. If we watch them, silently, impartially, we’ll see them for what they are.

Just thoughts. They don’t have power over us. We’re not automatons that someone controls with the press of a button. We have the power to make decisions that benefit us. So, allow those negative thought patterns to go through you, and not become part of you.

This is what I discuss in today’s episode, in which you’ll learn:

  • How our behavior with food affects our relationship with hunger and cravings.

  • Habits of eating that are sustainable and wholesome.

  • The healthy thought patterns that will help us develop a healthy relationship with food.

  • How our hormonal responses are thrown off balance by how and what we eat.

  • Questions to ask yourself when you feel the urge to eat something that isn’t nutrient dense.

  • How to lose weight while feeling great.

  • How our food choices affect the way our children eat as well.

  • Why there’s no such thing as good food and bad food.

If there’s one thing I want you to remember from this episode, is that our judgment perpetuates the problem we have with food. The tips I share will help you align your thinking with your behavior towards food, and only good things will follow.
