Today, Alyssa talks about her relationship with food, how working with a coach has relieved the underlying psychological burden of diet culture, how she was able to make breakthroughs with her eating patterns, and her largest internal transformations.
Here’s a look at today’s episode:
Why do psychologists need coaches?
A negative relationship with food is an external trap that you internalize.
You don’t have to let your thoughts rule you. You have agency.
Sometimes, taking a break from sugar, alcohol, etc., is necessary to identify the underlying drive to consume those things.
It’s not about perfection. It’s about progress.
Your 20s are a great time for doing foundational work.
