You’re on day seven of your Keto diet, and everything goes great. But, come Sunday, you eat a cookie. Cue the thoughts of failure.

You lose trust in yourself, you believe that you’ll never be able to commit fully to eat like you should be eating.

You fall off the wagon, and continue eating unhealthy and in a way that brings you misery instead of happiness.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with this way of thinking, what I call the “all or nothing” thinking. It’s what makes us ambitious and ready to take on difficult challenges. If you didn’t have that attitude, maybe you wouldn’t have the courage to start your weight loss journey.

But, when it comes to dieting and sticking to a lifestyle that brings you joy, all or nothing thinking is the enemy.

It is the mind-killer. It’s what makes you feel like a failure even though you didn’t do anything wrong. This cannot be further from the truth.

All or nothing thinking leads you to a mindset of perfection. And nobody is perfect, everybody slips up, whether in relationships with loved ones, or with food.

More importantly, perfection is the result of fear.

To learn more about this, join me in today’s episode, in which I share:

  • How black and white thinking sabotages your weight loss goals and what you can do about it.

  • Four steps that will help you to obliterate your “all or nothing” thinking.

  • Why consistency and sustainability are the key to achieving your goals.

  • How to achieve results that you feel good about.

When you’re trying to lose weight, and when doing anything, really, you want to take action from a place of courage and love. So, implement these steps today and live the life you will be happy with.
