So you’ve been listening to my series on Back-2-Basics, and you jotted down a plan. You’ve gained momentum, and are feeling good about your progress.
You even planned for the holidays, and how to tackle the challenges of overeating and overdrinking.
But, you haven’t thought of the most important predator that can derail you from your weight loss tracks: food pushers.
Even though they’re well intentioned, food pushers can easily sabotage your weight loss goals.
But, only if you allow them. Sure, it’s hard to disappoint your auntie who has been slaving away on the stove for five hours. But, either way, someone’s going to get disappointed at the end.
Your auntie will forget that you’ve said no to her pecan pie ten minutes after you rejected her. But, you will feel bad about eating that pie days after you ate it.
There is an easy way out, and I’m talking about it in today’s episode, in which I go over:
How food pushers sabotage our weight loss goals.
Three practical ways in which you can handle food pushers.
Why it feels bad to hurt the feelings of other people.
Why you don’t need to be afraid of rejecting the advances of food pushers.
Remember, you want to make choices that bring you closer to the results you want. To the life you want. Let this guide you the next time someone wants to push you to do things that will break the trust you have with yourself.
