I used to believe that to lose weight, I needed to go through the inevitable suffering. Starvation, dieting, avoiding certain foods like they’re the devil. And, on top of that, exercising with the intensity of a triathlon athlete.

It’s how I created my New Year’s resolutions. No pain, no gain, right? Wrong! You don’t have to go through misery to find happiness.

Our brains trick us into feeling that to achieve anything, we must suffer. Sometimes, we’ll even achieve some of our goals in this way. But, at what price?

Our life is more than a to-do list. We don’t have to plow through our days stressing about what we should eat.

Thing is, when we’re miserable throughout our journey to accomplish our goals, we’ll still feel miserable when we achieve them.

There is a better way, in which you’ll lose weight while feeling happy. Without starving, without suffering. That is why I want you to listen to today’s episode, in which I share my whole new approach to setting goals for the New Year. I share:

  • The method I use to create better New Year’s resolutions.

  • Why I no longer feel that I need to suffer to lose weight and feel good all the time.

  • The tools that will help you create better goals.

  • How I committed to feeling good, and started to make changes geared towards that goal.

  • How I no longer go through grueling exercises in the gym to lose weight.

  • Why I don’t have a problem with feeling discomfort anymore.

Ice cream and brownies don’t make you feel better. You may feel ecstatic when you eat them, but you’ll feel like shit the day after.

Feeling good is about making the choices that nourish your body, as well as your mind. Deciding to live this way is the path to food freedom.

All you have to do is decide to start the path. The strategies you’ll hear today, will make that path infinitely easier than huffing and puffing on a treadmill.
